Hey Abigail,

LOL, YES - I will have a ton of reviews on this site. I'm just REALLY behind right now. Busy with work and recently had surgery so I'm trying to get caught up. I will be posting reviews for Rampant, Beautiful Creatures, and a few others soon. I still owe you some questions, working on the creature feature and such so the pressure is on. Didn't realize how much time went into running the blog. Glad you liked the review. I really didn't want to give too much away.

Angela, I'm so glad you wrote a review! I was beginning to think that you weren't going to do any reviews on this site :)

I'm definitely intrigued. So good job.

Thanks, Audrey. I didn't want to breakdown the events of the book or expand on the mythology because it would be a complete spoiler. I will say that I was surprised when I found out what Daniel ultimately was. I'd been guessing as I read along and I have to admit that I didn't guess correctly. The mythology is key and it also gives you an idea of what might happen in the future, as well as answer a lot of questions you might have as the reader. The cover is stunning but there's also a good story inside. I don't think that the mythology weighs the story down so you don't have to worry about that. Despain gave us just enough to feed the plot and support events in the book, as well as leaving us with an idea of where things might go in the sequel. The paranormal aspect is certainly a nice twist and I think the lore has a nice spin to it as well.

This is the first review I've read that talks about the mythology brought into play in the Dark Divine (even if only a little bit). Thanks for that! This is, oddly enough, the first review to make me wnat to read the book for the book and not just for the cover.
